Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Wrapline collects, why we use it, when it is shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Images you add while designing remain in your browser unless you choose to publish or use a feature that clearly sends them to the service. A normal local export downloads directly to your device.
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, profile image, and an authentication identifier.
- Design content: when you publish, we store the exported PNG, title, selected vehicle, publication status, timestamps, and related technical metadata. A prompt or editable project document may be stored when those features are available and you choose to save them.
- Usage and security data: servers may process your IP address, browser user agent, request timestamps, and rate-limit events. For published uploads, we record file dimensions, size, a cryptographic hash, account identifier, IP address, and user agent.
- Cookies and local data: authentication uses cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in and protect the session.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, operate the editor and gallery, host and deliver published designs, attribute creators, maintain usage counts, secure the service, enforce limits and our Terms, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve reliability.
3. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing Wrapline, comply with legal obligations, and rely on consent where requested. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing.
4. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- with providers supporting authentication, hosting, storage, security, and infrastructure under appropriate restrictions;
- with the public when you publish, including the design title, image, vehicle, creator display name, and usage counts;
- when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service; or
- as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
5. Retention
We retain account and published-design information while active and as reasonably needed to operate the service. Security and upload audit records may be kept longer to detect abuse, investigate incidents, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Backups may persist for a limited period. We remove or anonymize information when no longer reasonably needed.
6. Your choices and rights
You can use the editor and local export without signing in and can choose not to publish. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of your information, and to appeal or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.
7. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Wrapline and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
Wrapline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date, with additional notice for material changes where reasonably possible.
